2025 KYL Registration

PITFALLS TO AVOID WHEN REGISTERING FOR THE REGULAR SEASON. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

 

0. This is for Kennebec Youth Lacrosse registrations only. This is NOT the CONY JR. RAMS aka Augusta Recreation.

 

1. Remember to get your USA Lacrosse membership UPDATED before you register with Kennebec Youth Lacrosse. You will be asked to supply your USA Lacrosse membership number when filling in this form.  The Expiration date on your USA Lacrosse memership has to fall AFTER June 30th, 2025.

2. When you do get your USA Lacrosse membership for your player it has to be A) in the Players name not the parents and B) be a Player membership and not a Family membership.

 

3. When registering make sure you click through all of the uniform size selections (even if you don't think it applies to you) and make a choice. I wish I could simplify this portion but the program is limited.

 

4. When paying at the end, you have to select A) the team that you are joining and B) any Uniform items or extras that you are purchasing. Note: Kindergarten thru 6th graders are loaned their uniforms by Kennebec Youth Lacrosse. It's only the 7th-8th grade players that need to purchase a uniform if they do not already have one. We frequently run into players who either paid for their team registration and not their uniform purchase or vice versa.

 

5. You can only register one child at a time on this site. Come back to register additional players.

Each subsequent child will have a discounted fee.

PLEASE READ THE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: If you are purchasing any items of a uniform, you must select those item for payment AND EVERYONE must select a registration option.

  1. The uniforms are a separate cost for the 7th and 8th grade players. ONLY Purchase a Jersey or Shorts if you are in the 7th-8th grade program and need a new one.
  2. K-2nd graders do not need a uniform
  3. 3-6th graders will be loaned a uniform for the season.
  4. Shooter shirts are OPTIONAL but most of the older kids want one.
  5. You can only Register One Child at a time online. THERE IS A MULTIPLE CHILD DISCOUNT. Register your first child and select a "first child" package and pay. Come back and register your second child and select a "second child" package and pay etc.

This package is for kids Grades 3-8 only. Kennebec Youth Lacrosse will provide uniforms for the 3rd-6th grade teams. These uniforms will be returned to KYL at the end of the season. The 7th-8th grade players will need to purchase a KYL Uniform top and bottom if they do not already own one. They will keep their uniforms at the end of the season.

AMATEUR ATHLETIC MINOR WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Kennebec Youth Lacrosse athletics/sports program and related events and activities the undersigned:

1. Agree that the parent(s) and or legal guardian(s) will instruct the minor participant that prior to participating in he or she should inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if the participant believes anything is unsafe, he or she should immediately advise his or her coach or supervisor of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.
2. Acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions or negligence but the action, inaction or negligence of others, the rules of play or the condition of the premises or any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
3. Assume all the foregoing risk and accept personal responsibility for the damages following injury, permanent disability or death.
4. Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Kennebec Youth Lacrosse, its affiliated organizations their administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers and if applicable, owners and leasers of premised used to conduct the event. All of which are herein after referred to as 'Releases', from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of any injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or part by the negligence of releases or otherwise.
5. I/We have read the above waiver and release, understand that we have given up substantial rights by signing it and sign it voluntarily.
6. I have read and understand the KYL Code of Conduct found on this website.
7. I agree to allow Kennebec Youth Lacrosse to use any photographs that include my children in Lacrosse related activities on their website or Facebook pages.
